Bricco Suites reinvents the Italian tradition of renting out rooms for the night above the family restaurant. In this case, the restaurant is Bricco in the North End, and the rooms are eight 1- and 2- bedroom suites with a separate living and dining area. Seven of the eight have fireplaces and all are equipped with big flat-panel televisions, comfortable modern couches and chairs, and granite bar with sink and under-counter glass-door refrigerator. All the beds are queen size.
Some of the suites look out on busy Hanover Street, while others overlook the brick building that houses Bricco Panetteria behind the restaurant. For those who really love waking up to the aroma of fresh bread in the oven, there are eight more studio suites stacked on the floors above the bakery. They share the same amenities and design features as the larger suites, including romantic sepia-toned photos of Italian scenes on the walls, bamboo floors, and walk-in showers with rainheads.
