If you go to Beng Mealea. . .

The trip from Siem Reap, home of Angkor Wat, to Beng Mealea costs $30-$50, depending on whether you take a motorized rickshaw called a tuk-tuk or a taxi with air conditioning. There’s also a $5 fee to enter.

Guides at Beng Mealea are informal and work for tips. There are no bathroom facilities at the temple, but there are in the nearby village at some of the roadside restaurants.
