MAKE CHEESE IN COLORADO

At Mountain Goat Lodge, you not only share its 19 acres of rolling pastures with resident goats, you may also learn how to make cheese. A two-hour class includes an overview on goat husbandry, how to milk a goat, and a hands-on workshop to make two of the following: chevre, fresh mozzarella, feta, paneer, or a foolproof method for Greek-style yogurt. PARIS EXHIBIT DEBUTS IN ATLANTA

The romance and beauty of Paris arrive at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art with the opening of “The Art of the Louvre’s Tuileries Garden” (Nov. 3-Jan.19). The exhibition explores the art, design, and evolution of the famed 63-acre garden and its impact on artists through the ages including French and American Impressionists such as Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, and Childe Hassam and photographers such as Eugène Atget and Henri Cartier-Bresson. The show features more than 100 works (Aristide Maillol’s 1902-05 bronze “The Mediterranean” pictured), some that have never traveled outside Paris, including large-scale sculptures created in the 17th-20th centuries, and paintings, photographs, and drawings.
