I have to say, I do not like the redesign. I can appreciate your need to save paper by going small, and save money by downgrading paper quality... but this is too small. The Globe Magazine is supposed to have large gorgeous photos, lengthy readable features and editorials... not tight cramped columns like Parade. This five-column grid is too narrow to read anything other than short blurbs. The large black section heads just rob the page of valuable space and contribute to the tight, cramped feel. I didn't get out my pica ruler and measure the typeface, but it seems smaller also, perhaps because of the columns or tighter leading. The photos seemed blurry, is it the paper quality? Considering the Magazine is one of the major reasons I get an actual 'paper' paper, this annoys me.
