Kudos to Ted Levin for bringing this story to light. In response To the comment quoted by Tom French of the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, I would just like to say "how predictable," that a spokesperson for government agency would dismiss the findings of a genius because he cares too much, works too hard for a cause and doesn't need a conventional herpetology degree to know more than all of you. I suppose you would argue that society should have ignored the contributions of Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, and Benjamin Franklin who had no formal education? And for the record, James does have an Advanced Degree from CalArts.
