Some of these burgers are ridiculous. If you can't open your mouth wide enough to take a bite out of it while holding it in your hand, then it's not really a hamburger. A hamburger is a sandwich and you don't need a knife and fork.

Any list of burgers that excludes Bartley's in favor of Red Robin and a wimpy suburban gourmet wannabe like the Cottage is so pathetic as to call into question the credibility of the entire food editorial staff.

Strassman knows of what he speaks!  The world of Boston burgers without Barleys is like a map of the world without South America!  What was the normally right-on food staff thinking?  This oversight deserves a mulligan.
