Actually, when quoted as saying, "I didn't talk to anyone at the bar. I pulled out my phone and began scanning through OkCupid Locals ... It's become habit." I decided not to talk to anyone on the OKCupid Locals app.
I did, however, choose to talk to several people at the Downtown Lounge in Portland, Maine - and had a very nice time.

My feeling is that location-based features are more often used for immediate hookups, which is not for me. I certainly do not make it a habit of scanning OkCupid Locals and I'm not quite sure why I was quoted as saying as such.
