Man... who in the name of jeeehossephat wants to date somebody that turned up because of satellite feed? Imagine, dating such a wwoman who leaves her girlfriends access to her GPS set so they can keep an eye on her during a blind date. Even worse, pity the woman whose male date leaves his sister with his GPS data so she can keep an eye to make sure he is not being overwhelmed by a love starved female. And finally, if somebody does find a potential mate via GPS, does that mean both parties to the couple can only leave the house with their GPS operating? Sounds like something even Mr. Spock would do his best to escape.

Actually, when quoted as saying, "I didn't talk to anyone at the bar. I pulled out my phone and began scanning through OkCupid Locals ... It's become habit." I decided not to talk to anyone on the OKCupid Locals app. I did, however, choose to talk to several people at the Downtown Lounge in Portland, Maine - and had a very nice time. ~Kevin Cassidy

My feeling is that location-based features are more often used for immediate hookups, which is not for me. I certainly do not make it a habit of scanning OkCupid Locals and I'm not quite sure why I was quoted as saying as such. ~Kevin Cassidy
