Can a Woburn company’s flying car someday be a fix for traffic?

Firm looks to reinvent the weekend getaway.

I would say flying car is the incorrect term. Its performance is that of an aircraft that can be driven short distances on the road. Neat concept for the occaisional pilot who can afford it but doesn't want to pay the hangar fees.

An expensive, but not very practical, toy for the well-healed. You can't just take-off on I-93 if you don't like the traffic.
