My retired 71-year-old mother recently picked up my two nephews (8 and 10) from summer camp. Since it was noon, she offered to take them out for lunch at Burger King, their favorite restaurant. After placing the order, my mother inquired about a senior discount. The very observant 10-year-old noticed a difference in the price after the discount was applied. He then turned to my mother and said, “Wow, Nana, I can’t wait to be a senior in high school so I can get the senior discount too.”
