My mother-in-law grew up in the town where we’re raising our four kids. One day, she was talking to the kids about how her elementary school was right across from her house. "When I was in grammar school,” she said, “I could sleep late, because I just had to cross the street to get there.” One of my kids thought for a few minutes and said, “Nana, I didn't know you had to go to school to be a grandma!”
