I'm curious what the metrics were for selecting the "jobs to watch". The article missed a few that I know are projected to grow enormously in the next few years.
I'm in information technology, and I can vouch for there being a huge demand for qualified, capable professionals in this area. And having been on several screening committees, I can also say that there's not near enough qualified, capable professionals out there to fill these positions. Oh yes, there's a lot of people applying, but very few possess the skills to fill these positions. The problem is that these positions have become so specialized, and it's really difficult to find people with the skills to match the position.
