Remote possibilities

Lost car in the parking lot.

My wife, Linda, who works in a small store on the Cape, was concerned when a customer returned with a perplexed look on her face. “I can’t get into my car. The remote no longer seems to work,” said the customer. Linda followed her out to the car, only to see her futile attempts to unlock the door. “I’m sure it’s not the remote. This is my car,” said Linda. “Now let’s try some of the other cars in the lot.”
