I used to read the sandwich list at Flour Bakery. Hmmm, the BLT sounds good, I would think. So does chicken and jicama. And both are good, no doubt — but the smoked turkey with cheddar, mixed greens, and cranberry chutney is great, and it’s all I need. Served on soft white bread that’s made from focaccia dough, the sandwich contains just the right amount of each element, so no single flavor dominates, and none is lost. It’s harmony on sliced bread.
