I was walking through the Public Garden one morning when a jogger wearing a Yankees T-shirt approached. He called out to me, “What’s the name of this park?”

I replied, “The Public Garden.”

I said, “No. That’s the Gahden.”

My grandchildren were visiting us for a weekend on Cape Cod. As they were leaving, I asked my 3-year-old granddaughter if she would like to visit without her older siblings, who were in school, or her parents. She immediately replied, “Oh, Mimi, I don’t drive!”
