The walnut crescent cookies at Lakota Bakery in Arlington are made with just five ingredients: butter, sugar, flour, vanilla, and walnuts. That’s until the bakers half-dip the hand-shaped moons into chocolate, explains owner Barbara Weniger, like they’ve been doing for more than two decades.
