    The world’s favorite sassy English pig is going on her first US theatrical tour, Peppa Pig’s Big Splash! The popular children’s cartoon character takes the lead in a live-action performance at Lowell Memorial Auditorium with songs, dance, games, and muddy puddles.     Explore the connection between the arts and the sciences with Music of Reality Presents: Beautiful Questions at the Somerville Armory. Part of a concert series cofounded by Boston-based composer and musician David Ibbett, the multidisciplinary event incorporates talks about topics in cosmology with performances by acoustic and electronic musicians. 6 p.m. Tickets $15, $10 for students and arts professionals. musicofreality.com/events

    CAMPUS ARTS

    Thursday-Sunday, April 27-30

    For the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts at Brandeis, more than 300 students, alumni, and local artists present dance, theater, sketch comedy, music, and more. Saturday’s offerings include the Brandeis Folk Festival, while “Super Sunday” sees nonstop action — including Dvorak, marionettes, and juggling —  starting at noon.
