Several fires of the WaterFire installation have been freshly lit at sundown in the Rhode Island School of Design section of Water Place Park in downtown Providence. WaterFire, an award winning art installation by Barnaby Evans, is a series of one hundred bonfires suspended just above the surface of the Providence, Woonasquatucket and Moshassuck Rivers. The artwork runs for two thirds of a mile through the parks of downtown Providence and is li from April to October on selected dates.
