Governor Deval Patrick will appear on Meet the Press Sunday, continuing his effort to raise his profile and speak on behalf of President Obama’s reelection.

Patrick’s trip also includes some fundraising and additional politicking, according to a schedule released by his staff this afternoon. He’ll fly to Washington Sunday morning for the show, where he’ll appear with Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell, to talk about the 2012 election and other current events. Then he’ll head to Charlotte Monday for a Democratic Governors Association policy meeting, before returning to Washington Tuesday for a fundraiser for his political action committee, Together PAC.

Patrick’s office said the governor’s political committee would pay the cost of his travel.
