Patrick makes political rounds

Governor Deval Patrick will appear on “Meet the Press” tomorrow, continuing his effort to raise his profile and speak on behalf of President Obama’s reelection.

Patrick’s schedule in the coming days will also include some fundraising and additional politicking, according to his staff. He flies to Washington Sunday morning for the show, where he’ll appear with Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell to talk about the 2012 election and other current events.

Then on Monday, he will head to Charlotte, N.C., for a Democratic Governors Association policy meeting before returning to Washington on Tuesday for a fund-raiser for his political action committee, Together PAC.

Patrick’s office said the governor’s political committee would pay the cost of his travel.
