Rep. Tierney’s wife may give testimony

The federal case against US Representative John F. Tierney’s wife ended last year with her conviction on tax offenses and a sentence of a month in prison and house arrest. But the trials for her family are just beginning. Already convicted for helping one brother file false tax returns, Patrice Tierney now could be called to testify at a trial beginning this week for a second brother who faces racketeering charges for his alleged involvement in the same gambling ring.
