2 men seek $10m, accuse late clubhouse manager

Two men notified Sox executives last week they are seeking $5 million each in damages, accusing former clubhouse manager Donald Fitzpatrick, who died in 2005, of sexual assault.

It's sad that Fitzpatrick's deviancy continues to fester within the reputation of the Sox, and I hope his victims are genuinely seeking peace versus a paycheck. I wonder, though, why it was necessary to mention in the article that all of Fitz'z victims were African-American. The fact that Fitzpatrick may have marginalized his deviancy to black boys seems irrelevant, as I don't think it would get mentioned if all of his victims happened to be Irish-Catholic boys from Eastie.
