Cambridge police search for man who stabbed woman near Central Square

Cambridge police are searching for a man who stabbed a woman in the back as she was walking near Central Square Tuesday night. In an alert sent to residents, police said the woman was in the 800 block of the busy main street when she was attacked around 11 p.m. The woman told police she was struck once in the back with an unknown object. The woman sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
