The Massachusetts Republican Party’s new chairman, Robert A. Maginn Jr., gave Democratic Governor Deval Patrick $500, the maximum allowable under state law, during his reelection campaign last year. It wasn’t the first Democratic contribution made by Maginn, the CEO of the software company, Jenzabar Inc. In 2009, he gave $2,400 to Democratic U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer of New York, a frequent target of conservatives.

He sounds like a good man to me!
Aren't charities supposed to be non-partisan? What is One Family doing asking their leaders to support candidates? Sounds shady.
Does the Republican State Committee have a set of rules and regulations regarding members' conduct? Does supporting a non-Republican in an election during the governor's race qualify as an act of sedition, making the donor unfit to be a member, delegate or officer of the Republican party? I think so. Someone should check. Let's get an immature, myopic, optimistic Nassour back to spend money on the wrong races again! From the Republican State committee: Section 2. Political Activity of Members. No Regular Member of the State Committee, nor a Regular or Associate member of a ward or town committee, shall in any way serve the interests of any political party or sponsor or endorse any candidate of a political party other than the Republican Party in connection with any partisan election or primary in which there is a Republican candidate. Failure of a Regular Member of the State Committee or of a Regular or Associate member ward or town committee to comply with the foregoing standard shall subject such person to such sanctions as may be imposed by the Committee involved, which may include a request for the resignation of that Regular or Associate Member or a vote of censure. Seems pretty clear to me!
He just sounds like a moderate Republican to me. We need people like him.
