Authorities were continuing their search yesterday for a man accused of breaking into his ex-wife’s home in Quincy on Christmas morning, attacking her with a dangerous weapon, and sexually assaulting her in front of one of her children. A Quincy police spokesman said late yesterday that Michael Toldness, 40, was still at large. In a statement Saturday, police said Toldness committed the attack at about 5 a.m. on Christmas and fled when one of the woman’s children woke up and witnessed the assault. Toldness, who is white, 6-foot-2, and weighs 210 pounds, with dark-brown hair and green eyes, is believed to be driving a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup with a cab on the back and Massachusetts plate P40741, police said.
