Despite Murray’s moves to explain car crash, questions remain

From a public relations perspective, Lieutenant Governor Timothy P. Murray has handled the aftermath of his Nov. 2 car crash in textbook fashion. Hours after the crash, and again this past week after the release of his vehicle’s black box data, he has strode confidently before the cameras, delivered humble remarks and apologies, and gamely submitted to questions from reporters. The problem for him, though, hasn’t been the atmospherics of his delivery. It’s been the substance of his story.

I can't help but watch with amusement at the media's coverage of this story. Your focus on Murray is way over the top. Focus on the governor. That's where all the explosive stories are..... Stop being complicit and start doing some real reporting. Why did Patrick allow massachusetts to invest and loose $58,000,000.00 in Evergreen Solar? Maybe you could cover Obama's Solyndra scandal at the same time....the stories are so similar...kind of weird. I think if the taxpayers knew how much money of theirs had been lost over very questionable investments, they wouldn't be so upset with Tim Murray...don't you? How is it possible to score another book deal when he only sold 10,000 copies of his first book? Translates into a loss of over a $1,000,000.00 for his publisher. Would you sign him? Who is the publisher? Wasn't he in NY collecting his money the day of the casino vote a few years back? Wasn't he signing the casino bill around the same time he announced his second book deal? Doesn't his wife's firm represent the national gaming association? She's a partner which means she'll profit from the new revenue brought in, doesn't it? You really believe Kraft and Patrick have never spoken about casino's? Kind of strange that Patrick has noted he was out of the country when the announcement was made about Kraft and Wynn. Why mention it at all? Columbus center, Wynn and Wilkerson....... Need I go on?
