New Hampshire man and woman found shot to death in vehicle in Arizona

About 11:30 a.m. on Friday, sheriff deputies found the bodies of James Johnson, 62, of Jaffrey, and Carol Raynsford, 62, of Nelson, in a red Subaru station wagon with New Hampshire plates outside Sedona, Ariz., according to a statement released by the Yavapai County Sheriff today. Detectives have not established a motive for the homicides. Deputies recovered .223-caliber shell casings and other evidence indicating at least one suspect fired from outside the Subaru. The Subaru was parked at a scenic overlook.
