Murray decries rumors, speculation about crash

Lieutenant Governor Timothy P. Murray has written to political supporters telling them that he has been subjected to “false rumors and wild speculation’’ since he crashed his state-owned car last November while driving in excess of 100 miles per hour. “I understand that when a public figure is in any kind of accident people want to know how it happened,’’ Murray wrote. “Unfortunately, false rumors and wild speculation can result even when the details of the matter have been released to the public.’’

Hey Tim try telling the truth the first time it might help. However your story even if true doesn't make sense for a clear thinking leader of the state. However this story is minor compared to your relationship with that criminal McLaughlin and his son who you put in place. That tells the real story of what you're all about.

I'm sure the trooper who bagged timmy's accident , hopes he becomes the Governor.

Why is this guy not given a ticket that brings him before a judge? Why is this political hack not subjected to a loss of his driver's license? What is the story about his personal automobile insurance? Will he get a surcharge for driving either 75 or 108 miles per hour? What speed was his speeding ticket based on? A $550 fine? Is that a big deal? And what about Murray's previous pledge to pay for the wrecked vehicle - $9,000 if memory serves? Why should he have to pay for it? Is the state self-insured for its vehicles or does it carry commercial insurance? This tale is so loaded with holes that Murray's whining about "false rumors and wild speculation" stem from his own untruths. Now he's trying to blame a bad memory for his early lies. Remind me not to hire this clown's public relations advisor the next time I run as the Librarian Party candidate for lieutenant governor.

The whole thing is strange. Wasn't there something about phone records in early reporting? Something showing he was on the phone or had been shortly before the crash?

I am sorry Mr. Lt. Governor you are wrong, the MSP did give you special consideration. Anyone else suspected of falling asleep at the wheel would have been cited under Chp 90 Sec 24 - Driving so as to Endanger.

As painful as all this must be for Lt Gov Murray.... who is really a nice person and easy to like....... I have to agree with Top Cop1...... A motor vehicle charge of operating to endanger (90-24) should have applied as a result of the "final" findings of this MSP accident investigation.
