Driver identified in fatal Weymouth crash

A 35-year-old Rockland man and his two-year-old son were killed Monday night when their vehicle careened off Route 3 and crashed into trees in the forested median strip in Weymouth. State Police said in a statement this morning that Curtis G. Thompson Jr. was driving his 2006 Chevrolet Malibu in the middle lane of Route 3 southbound when he lost control and the vehicle spun around in a counter-clockwise motion.
