Krafts wanted casino talks quiet

First discussions began in August

Kraft Group executives told Foxborough officials in August about a preliminary inquiry for a casino development on company property and asked them not to discuss the matter, according to a Kraft executive. Daniel G. Murphy, the company’s vice president of business development and external affairs, wrote yesterday in a letter intended for the town and a local newspaper that Town Manager Kevin Paicos and Selectman Larry Harrington were informed at an Aug. 8 meeting of a “development inquiry’’ from Wynn Resorts.
