Two bodies found in apparent murder-suicide in Haverhill

A man and woman were found dead today in a parking lot at Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill in what authorities believe was a murder-suicide, according to a spokeswoman for the Essex district attorney’s office. The woman was identified as Martha McDermott, 36, of Hampton, N.H., and the man as Kristin Broderick, 37, of Houston. Authorities believe the couple was married.
