Bullets missed mark, prosecution says

Trial underway in 2006 killing

For six days in the spring of 2006 the whereabouts of Guillermo Rodrigues, last seen fleeing a barrage of gunfire in front of a relative’s house in Dorchester, was a mystery to authorities and Rodrigues’s anxious relatives. Today, a Suffolk Superior Court jury learned what had happened: Rodrigues was struck by bullets meant for another man, and then stumbled into the backyard of a nearby home where he died. His body was found six days later, a cellphone nearby.
