Police are searching for a man who stole goods from a Back Bay designer jeans store last night. The man walked into the True Religion Brand Jeans store at 119 Newbury St. at about 7:05 p.m., grabbed six pairs of jeans and a hat, and left, said Officer James Kenneally, a Boston police spokesman. The suspect is described as about 5 feet 5 inches tall, heavyset, in his mid-thirties, and wearing a red jacket, Kenneally said. Those with information are urged to call the Crime-Stoppers Tip Line at 800-494-8477 or text the word tip to 27463.
