Senator Scott Brown downplayed his personal wealth, while suggesting police officers, firefighters, and nurses could be hurt by a proposal to increase taxes on those earning over $250,000, during an interview yesterday with The Sun of Lowell. The Massachusetts Republican also said he would be willing to release his tax returns if his likely Democratic reelection opponent, Elizabeth Warren, asks him to do so. Warren drew criticism from Republicans recently after revealing she made $700,000 over two years - $350,000 per year.
