Police investigate after arrow is shot through window of Barnstable home

In a harrowing incident for a Barnstable family, someone shot an arrow through the window of a home Wednesday night. The arrow flew through the window and into the back of a television in a Marstons Mills-area home, and was probably shot while someone was driving by in a car at about midnight, said Barnstable police Sergeant Sean Sweeney. However, he said, the 56-year-old resident of the home on Barberry Lane believed that it wasn’t just an accident -- someone was trying to intimidate him.
