Massachusetts officials and members of the state’s Haitian-American community will join together tomorrow at the State House to remember the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti more than two years ago. Governor Deval Patrick and state Representative Linda Dorcena Forry, a Democrat from Boston, are hosting the event, which will include a proclamation declaring Jan. 12 through Feb. 11 as Haitian Earthquake Remembrance Month in Massachusetts. The 2010 disaster killed 316,000 people and displaced 1.5 million others in Haiti.
