Menino, Bloomberg go all-in on Super Bowl wager

Losing city will roll out red carpet

The mayors of Boston and New York yesterday announced the traditional Super Bowl bet between municipal leaders, but this one has a touristic twist: A lucky family from the winning city will be treated to a free trip to the losing city. Mayors M. Thomas Menino and Michael Bloomberg said yesterday that the family will get a “Super Tour’’ in one of their cities that will include two nights in a hotel, dinners, performances, and even tours of local breweries.
