Quiet city awaited those who aren’t football fans

That might explain why he was out about at game time yesterday - one of few Bostonians on the streets. With the city glued to its collective TV set, shops and restaurants around the city were deserted. Some didn’t even bother to stay open, sending employees home so they too could watch the game.
