A 40-year-old Winthrop man was charged yesterday with breaking into dozens of storage lockers from November to January, the Suffolk district attorney’s office said. Daniel Stimpson faces eight counts of breaking and entering, eight counts of trespassing, and eight counts of larceny over $250. Police said Stimpson broke into 79 individual lockers and took consumer electronics, tools, and other items worth thousands of dollars. Prosecutors said Stimpson told detectives he tried to sell the stolen items on Craigslist.
