Alleged gang member acquitted of first degree murder

A reputed Boston gang member was acquitted of first degree murder charges by a Suffolk Superior Court jury today. Manuel DaSilva was accused of being one of two shooters who opened fire on Draper Street in Dorchester on April 1, 2006 fatally wounding Guiliardo Rodrigues.
