Up to eight inches of snow expected in parts of Mass.

You were wrong, Ms. G. The National Weather Service says some areas of Massachusetts could be hit with up to six inches of snow on Saturday, despite the predictions of the Drumlin Farm groundhog who didn’t see her shadow last week, a traditional sign that spring has arrived. The storm would be a run-of-the-mill event in a normal winter, but it seems like a veritable blizzard because of what has been so far a relatively snow-free season. “Because we’ve had so few snowstorms it makes it more of an event than it normally would be,” said meteorologist Charlie Foley.
