But total war chest lags Brown’s in Senate race

Elizabeth Warren’s campaign to reclaim a United States Senate seat for the Democrats is drawing on deep out-of-state support, with 61.3 percent of her itemized donations coming from out of state during the last quarter of 2011. Her total take was almost $5.7 million, compared to $3.2 million by Republican incumbent Scott Brown, whose fourth-quarter take came by a 2-to-1 margin from donors from his home state.
