State and local police converged on the Burlington Mall yesterday after a report of a man possibly armed with a shotgun. Burlington police said that about 30 minutes after officers began to search the area, a man came to the police station because he believed he was the suspect. He said he had just received a BB rifle and a package of BBs from a friend in the mall parking lot. Police said no charges are being filed at this time.
