The US Senate race in Massachusetts is on pace to be among the most expensive in the country. In the final quarter of 2011, Republican Senator Scott Brown collected $3.2 million, giving him a campaign balance of $12.9 million. His chief Democratic rival, Elizabeth Warren, amassed $5.7 million in the same quarter, for a total of $6.1 million. Much of Warren's money-- more than 60 percent of her itemized donations -- came from out of state, while only a third of Brown's support came from elsewhere. Both candidates also drew on Massachusetts contributions. Below is a town-by-town breakdown of their in-state donations.
