A man involved in a fiery crash on the Braga Bridge over the weekend said he crashed after someone fired a gun at him. The Sunday morning crash forced the closing of two ramps to the milelong bridge that spans the Taunton River. Luis Cotto, 42, said a black Infiniti cut him off and slowed down. He said he flashed his high beams, both vehicles stopped, and a confrontation ensued. He said he was attacked, stumbled back to his truck, which was then fired on, causing the gas tank to explode. Cotto said he escaped out the window. State Police had no comment on his version of events.
