Norton police find more than 200 marijuana plants; homeowner faces charges

Norton police allegedly stumbled upon a large collection of marijuana plants Wednesday while searching for a juvenile who was wanted by Foxboro police. Officers smelled the drug and then discovered over 200 marijuana plants in a shed and garage at the property on Maple Street, police said in a statement. William Roe, 50, the owner of the residence, was charged with manufacturing and cultivating a Class D substance. He will be arraigned in Attleboro District Court
