Polish Triangle losing its ethnic identity

As older residents die, younger ones move to suburbs

The line that once defined Boston’s Polish Triangle is fast fading, past its borders of Boston Street, Dorchester Avenue and Columbia Road. Indeed, many of the older residents have died. The younger generation have moved to the suburbs. And many who make the weekly trek to Mass at Our Lady of Czestochova are from out of town.

i grew up in a small Polish parish and as I age I appreciate more what that experience meant to me. Good people--a great time!
