Sullivan’s heralds spring in South Boston

In the surest sign since Truck Day that spring will soon replace an interminable and underwhelming winter, legendary South Boston institution Sullivan’s opened its doors for the first time since last fall to a crowd of loyal customers this morning, many of whom have attended the annual re-opening for decades. Despite windy and chilly weather, hundreds turned out to mingle with old neighborhood friends and enjoy Sullivan’s famous hot dogs, which are made with all-natural casings.
