Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett has some “loose ends’’ to look into, but has essentially completed his investigation into the shooting of a Beverly police officer because the suicide of Hamilton Police Sergeant Ken Nagy means there will not be any criminal charges to pursue, his spokeswoman said this morning.
