Norton woman shot by state trooper in hunting accident returns home from hospital

Cheryl Blair was shot New Year’s Eve by an off-duty state trooper in a hunting accident. Yesterday, on her first full day home, Blair, 66, was treated with intravenous antibiotics for an open wound. She can move only with the help of a walker and will continue to need physical therapy, said her husband, Jim Blair. Despite the residual pain, he added, his wife is “happy to be home’’ and reunited with her dogs, “who missed her.’’
