Missing Boston College student’s home is searched for clues; Bruce Springsteen tweets, asking people to help

Springsteen post on Twitter seeks help, information

State and Newton police searched Franco Garcia’s home in Newton yesterday in hope of finding a piece of information that may help locate the missing Boston College student, and rocker Bruce Springsteen has joined the effort on Twitter.

Lieutenant Bruce Apotheker - a spokesman for the Newton Police Department, which is leading the investigation - said, “State and Newton police are at the house. They are trying to find some clue, some investigatory lead, that would help them in the search for this missing young man.’’
